Perry Ragsdale is senior vice president, Real Estate and Design and Construction and is responsible for the selection of locations and the design and construction of Chick-fil-A restaurants. A member of the Executive Committee, Perry has overseen the evolution of design and construction of Chick-fil-A restaurants during a time of rapid growth that requires more efficient use of space and a strong emphasis on appearance.
He joined the company in 1970 as an architectural draftsman. He was named senior vice president of Design and Construction in 1995 and assumed responsibility for Real Estate in 2008.
Perry attended the University of Georgia and Southern Polytechnic State University, and subsequently served six years with the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He also attended the Executive Development Consortium at Emory Business School and, is a member of the National Restaurant Association. Perry, an instrument-rated private pilot, participates in Angel Flight of Georgia, providing transportation necessary for medical care for patients in financial need.
A native of East Point, Georgia, Perry is married to the former Debbie Braden and has two children, Jeramy and Lindsey. He is actively involved in his church, teaching Sunday School and serving as an elder.
