Florida Chick-fil-A Partners with Monster Transmission to Support Charities
The Chick-fil-A in Brooksville, Fla. holds a car show every month, benefitting charities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Disabled American Veterans, Feeding America and more.
Every month the Chick-fil-A at Spring Hill in Brooksville, Fla., works with Monster Transmission to host a car show, benefitting a different charity each month. The event has supported causes ranging from the Alzheimer's Family Organization, New Beginnings Youth Shelter, Feeding America, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Suncoast Harvest Food Bank, Disabled American Veterans, and Hungry in Hernando.
The monthly event is held in conjunction with Monster Transmission, a local auto-mechanic shop known worldwide for its work rebuilding transmissions. Chick-fil-A provides the space, games, Cow mascot, and food, and Monster Transmission promotes the event to its car fans and works with Chick-fil-A selecting the recipient charity each month.
"This event is family friendly, fun, and for a good cause," said John Mitten, Operator of the Spring Hill Chick-fil-A. "We wanted people to come together, and we are always looking for opportunities to support our community – and this does both."
