Middletown Transcript – Middletown, Del.

More than a dozen families helped to support the Appoquinimink Early Childhood Center by eating at Chick-fil-A between 5 and 7 p.m. on May 3. A portion of all proceeds went to the school's PTA.

Patch.com – Lexington, S.C.

Chick-fil-A of Lexington hosted a Swim4Nathaniel benefit to support Nathaniel Fournel, an eighth-grader at Pleasant Hill Middle School with a brain tumor.

Akron Leader Publications – Copley, Ohio

Chick-fil-A and the Brodyn’s Friends Foundation hosted a fundraiser to commemorate NonKetotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH) Awareness Day. A portion of sales was made to Brodyn’s Friends Foundation, a charitable organization that gives people the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families affected with NKH.

Come to Chick-fil-A from 6 to 8 p.m. and dine with your local firemen and police officers. Ten percent of sales during that time will be donated to local police and fire charities.

WLTX.com – Columbia, S.C.

The Chick-fil-A in Columbia's Five Points presented a check to Special Olympics South Carolina Tuesday for $7,500.

Join us from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Chick-fil-A on Liberia Avenue. Twenty percent of your purchase will support the Alzheimer's Association and our Walk to End Alzheimer's in the Tri-Counties.

Sharonville Relay for Life event raised more than $32K for cancer research. Chick-fil-A was among the partnering eateries that contributed to the cause.

In an effort to raise community awareness about poverty issues locally, Mission Amarillo will host its second Chick-fil-A Walk a Mile in My Shoes at 9 a.m. on May 4.

Patch.com – Palm Harbor, Fla.

On May 8, the Palm Harbor's Chick-fil-A will hold a fundraiser for Ireland Nugent, a toddler who has undergone multiple surgeries after her ankles were severed in a lawn mower accident.

WBIR-TV – Knoxville, Tenn.

The Homberg Drive Chick-fil-A held a fundraiser for baby Elijah James who was born with a rare form of Spina Bifida. A portion of all sales will go to the James family to help them pay for Eli's medical treatment.

Times and Democrat – Greensboro, Ga.

Chick-fil-A released the official pairings for the seventh annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament on Tuesday. The golf tournament's top team will receive $125,000 in scholarship funds, and all of the schools taking part in the event will receive a portion of the $520,000 total scholarship purse.

The Pooler Chick-fil-A is wrapping up child abuse prevention month by hosting a fundraiser for the Court Appointed Special Advocates group (CASA).

WHNT-TV – Huntsville, Ala.

The Athens Chick-fil-A recently raised $13,500 for a local non-profit during its fourth annual "5K, 10K, and 1 mile run." The money raised will support Bridge of Hope, which is a local organization that helps fund adoption by "bridging the gap for people who are adopting" and "making sure money is not a deterrent" for those looking to adopt children within the US and abroad.

Chick-fil-A, Inc., has selected two Crown Point residents, Asia Roundtree and Michelle Torres, as recipients of the chain's $1000 Leadership Scholarship.

Richland Mall and Franklin Avenue Chick-fil-As are supporting victims of the Texas factory explosion by allowing local residents to purchase a Chick-fil-A Sandwich to feed families, workers and volunteers in West community.

ISU students and Chick-fil-A are teaming with Make-A-Wish Foundation and hosting a Spirit Night to raise funds to help a young boy with liver disease meet the Broncos.

Chick-fil-A at Tuscany Square invites the community to attend Family Fitness Day. The restaurant is partnering with the YMCA and Mercy Health Systems to promote living an active lifestyle.

Officers from USC Police Services, the South Carolina Protective Services, Columbia Police and Highway Patrol will be on the roof of the Five Points Chick-fil-A, raising money for the South Carolina Special Olympics.

Acworth resident and Chick-fil-A team member Kimberly Westwood is one of only 25 students across the country to receive the 2013 S. Truett Cathy Scholar Award, the chain's highest scholar recognition.

Morgantown Chick-fil-A holds a fundraiser to benefit the Sgt. May Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Chick-fil-A Restaurants in Dallas and Hiram raised more than $13,000 for Tripp Halstead, the 2-year-old who was critically injured after being hit by a falling tree limb in October.
