Cow Car Surprise
Last year, I took my children for a leisurely lunch at Chick-fil-A. Leisurely is a relative term since I have three children under the age of four. As usual, lunch was busy. I spent my time cutting up chicken, refilling drinks and opening kids meal prizes. I barely had time for my own food. Of course, there was a helpful attendant at the restaurant who happily retrieved some napkins and straws when I forgot them. I LOVE that! I allowed my children to play at the playground, and then we headed home, exhausted and a bit harried. Sometime the next morning, I needed my wallet for something and had a minor heart attack when I realized it wasn't in my purse. Where could I have left it??? I frantically went through my diaper bag and then reviewed in my head the list of places we'd visited the day before. About that same time I heard a knock on my door. I peeked out of the window to see the familiar cow spotted Chick-fil-A car parked in my driveway. What??? I opened my door to a smiling Chick-fil-A employee, who had driven from a neighboring town to deliver my wallet because he had not been able to reach me by phone. I could not believe that a fast food restaurant employee would go so far above the call of duty for a customer. He made this busy momma's day! I will be a forever customer and was thrilled when a restaurant was opened in our town just a few months ago. Thank you, Chick-fil-A!
