My family has always loved our Short Pump Crossing Chick-fil-A. The entire staff is so wonderful and friendly. My kids always ask to go to Chick-fil-A for Kids Night on Tuesday to see Ms. Sheri the Clown or Jonathan the Juggler. Ms. Jean does special children's activities and always makes a point to talk to the kids. Tamara, the Marketing Director, helped me set up Spirit Nights to raise funds for my MOPS group. Through Spirit Nights and Kids Nights, Tamara and I became friends.
In May, my daughter Nadia was born two months premature and spent six weeks in the NICU. We have no family in town, and her early birth left our family of five completely unprepared. Tamara found out through Facebook that Nadia was born and was in the hospital. She sent my husband and me a message and asked when she could bring us a dinner from Chick-fil-A! What other restaurant would offer to provide you dinner in a family crisis situation? We were overwhelmed with the offer, and we immediately accepted.
On the appointed day, Tamara and her son arrived at our doorstep with a gallon of lemonade, a tray of nuggets, sandwiches, salads, and brownies! We felt like it was Christmas! The meal came on the perfect day, when we were incredibly busy with hospital visits and sports practice, and an out-of-town trip for my husband. Tamara's visit and the great food gave us the biggest lift in our day, and we will always remember when Chick-fil-A delivered dinner on our doorstep--with a big smile! Thanks, Chick-fil-A, for lending a hand when we needed it so much!
