A Love For Chick-fil-A
I have two boys. My oldest is 6 and is Autistic. My youngest was born May of 2010. Both my boys just LOVE Chick-fil-A. Every time we go to the mall we HAVE TO eat Chick-fil-A. My oldest is very picky and won't eat just anything. His autism makes him sensitive to certain tastes and textures but he loves Chick-fil-A nuggets more than any other.
Chick-fil-A has become so special to me because my oldest had a real problem adjusting when the baby was born. He would cover his ears whenever he would hear him cry. Now that my little one is a year old he is sort of warming up to him. His first sign of a loving gesture towards the baby was when we were at Chick-fil-A. I would usually take a nugget from him and break it up into pieces so the baby could eat. One day just out of the blue he got a nugget and started breaking it up for my little one. He just said, "Look Mom, food for baby" (his language is not fully developed). My mother and I were so impressed.
Since then, they love to eat there. They share a Kid’s meal and now even my little one points to Chick-fil-A and gets all excited when we pass by.
Thanks for making my family connect
