My newly wedded wife and I had our first date at Chick-fil-A. Ever since then, eating at Chick-fil-A has been a regular activity for the two of us. We love the great food and the great service and have become serious Chick-fil-A advocates for our town. We also love re-experiencing the memories of our first dates together and the times we have spent talking and growing our relationship closer, in the restaurant.
We now regularly continue building on our new marriage commitment by spending a date night out at our favorite restaurant. Our obsessive passion for Chick-fil-A has become famous to our friends and family to the point where they are just as excited to eat there.
Our friends were hardly surprised to see that we had taken many of our engagement pictures at Chick-fil-A or that my wife, on our wedding day, surprised me with the Chick-fil-A logo embroidered on her garter as I pulled it off her leg. As I held it in the air our friends and family cheered because they knew that it was much more than a cute joke but that it represented the start of our friendship that would later blossom into a lifelong commitment. Oh and the men were literally tackling one another to get a hold of the Chick-fil-A garter...a couple of stains and bruises but a chicken champion prevailed.
