I broke my shoulder earlier this week and pretty much stayed at home until today. My daughter and I went to our local mall (Northpark Mall in Joplin, MO.) this morning to walk and get a bite to eat at Chick-fil-A. As we were eating, a sweet lady came up to us, smiled, and asked if she could get us a refill on our beverages. I nodded and handed her my Coke. When she returned, she took the time to ask why my arm was in a sling. I explained, after which she said she liked to chat with people especially when it is obvious they are having some struggles. She explained that when she was experiencing a health problem she really appreciated it when others showed concern. Her name was Carol. She made me feel so good. I'd like for Chick-fil-A to commend her for her kindhearted and cheerful attitude.
