Love @ First Bite Sharing Life
My bride and I have been married for thirty years this August and we work together at a church/school in Charlotte, NC. When we first started going to Chick-fil-A, we both absolutely loved the food and people who worked at "our" Chick-fil-A. So needless to say, we started going to eat quite regularly at lunch time and also in the evening. We have gotten to know the owners and most of the employees.
It's been a blessing to go in and a few of the kids go out of their way to set "our" table for us with placemats and the condiments we use most often. We even have our own fries named after me! "Jim-Bob" fries! My wife is called Mrs. Jim-Bob by some of the workers.
My son has bought us more calendars than you can shake a stick at. Every Christmas and on special occasions we receive Gift Cards for, of course, Chick-fil-A! He sure doesn’t want us to go hungry!
We had a special anniversary dinner there, where our table was "reserved" for us and the table was set up with a tablecloth and they came over to take our order - just like in a five star restaurant with candles and glassware included. They treat us like family and we are blessed to have them as extended family as well.
Did I mention that we love the food and family atmosphere? Chick-fil-A is a great place to work compared to all the other "fast food" places. We watch the young kids working and they all seem very happy to be there, most of them will go out of their way to please the customers.
