Bridal Party Cow Day!
My friends and I have been participating in Cow Appreciation Day for the last six years. This year, by far, will forever be the most memorable. In addition to the annual Chick-fil-A holiday, July 13, 2012 was also my wedding day. Cow Appreciation Day couldn't have been timelier!
My bridesmaid’s family, close friends and I spent the morning "costuming" together. We made name tags that read "Bryde" or "Brydzmade." A friend of mine even made an extra cow veil for me to wear as part of my costume. When we arrived, I found that the restaurant staff had been notified that it was my special day and my videographer had also arranged to film our arrival. There was a table reserved with a Chick-fil-A "bridal cow" (also wearing a veil) and balloons as a centerpiece.
What a special memory! This was the most stress-relieving wedding-related event ever. We enjoyed our lunch and then headed to the salon in plenty of time. Thanks, Chick-fil-A!
