Loving Chick-fil-A, Coast To Coast!
I am from a small town in East Tennessee. I am 22 years old and grew up absolutely loving the "Chick!" Last year I applied and was accepted to the Disney College Program, an internship experience at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. I had never been and, although I was excited, I was nervous because I had heard through the grapevine that Chick-fil-A was not a "west coast thing." I was scared because I truly live off Chick-fil-A. A new location opened near my college campus in Johnson City, Tennessee and me, myself, and I spent the night in attempts of getting a Chicken Sandwich every day for a whole year!
As soon as I arrived in Anaheim at the end of August, I immediately searched for the closest Chick-fil-A location to me. I then found a Fullerton location and went by myself. As you probably could guess, I did fly on a plane from Tennessee to California so I did not have my car with me in Anaheim. I tracked down a public bus, wrote down directions, and then walked from the bus stop a few blocks to the Chick-fil-A in Fullerton.
I went on a daily basis during my semester long program from August-December. My roommates and friends in the program were mostly from northern California where Chick-fil-A had not yet opened locations. I could not believe they had never even tasted Chick-fil-A. We all got a huge group together and on the way there, I went on and on explaining to them how amazing the Nuggets were, Chick-n-Strips were, Waffle Fries were, salads were, and my favorites: the Milkshakes and the Chick-n-Minis for breakfast. Yum! I was squealing with excitement in anticipation of their very first experience at my favorite restaurant ever. Needless to say, they couldn't believe how wonderful a restaurant it was. The Howery family does an impeccable job of operating this fine location. The employees were respectful, friendly, and brought a smile to my face with "My Pleasure." I felt like I was back in the south. I Love My Chick-fil-A always have & always will!
