One Boy. One Day @Chick-fil-A
Our son was in the hospital in Plano, TX for pneumonia. On March 11th, I asked him if he wanted some Icedream from Chick-fil-A. He said yes. I went to Chick-fil-A in Plano off 121. I ordered 2 large Icedream cups and 2 large sweet teas. I had had a rough day. He was up all night and I cried the whole way there and in line. When I got up to the window to pay, the lady in front of me paid for my order. I cried more. Little did she know the day I was having...or did she?? I dried my face before I went back up to his room so he didn't have to see that I was crying. When I got back he didn't want his tea or his Icedream. He just slept. 4 days later he passed away. Little did we know he had a fast moving form of cancer called Burkitts Lymphoma. Our son's giving spirit and his love for Chick-fil-A were present that day in the order line. I believe in paying it forward so 3 weeks after his death I did at the Chick-fil-A in Highland Village, TX. I believe he gave me a high five that day. His giving spirit will live on.....RIP NATHAN LANGLEY!
