A Surprising Experience
I have been a fan of Chick-fil-A for its delicious food since I was very young and have gained an obsession for its mouth-watering chicken. However, after my most recent experience dining-in, I am now amazed not only with the food, but the terrific service, attention to detail, and warm atmosphere.
As my girlfriend and I walked into the El Con Chick-fil-A on April 29, 2013 we were greeted with a warm smile and a bright “Hello!” My first big surprise came after we ordered our food and an employee handed us a number. Our food was brought directly to our table! Wow, what service!
As we sat down I noticed how bright, clean and inviting the restaurant was; a beautiful yellow flower was neatly placed on each of the tables. As I ate I noticed the other satisfied patrons. An employee gave a bright red balloon to a little boy sitting next to us. The little boy was ecstatic! As I continued to eat I over heard two employees talking behind me: one man said "I think everything looks pretty clean," and the other agreed, but after a quick second the first employee added "but you know what, I bet I could find a few things I could make even better," I was astounded. Seconds after I finished my beverage an employee walked over to me and she offered to refill my drink. I thought "this can't be a fast food restaurant!" Once my girlfriend and I had finished our food an older employee (reminding me of a sweet grandfather) came over to us and said "How would you like to make a trade?" Confused I muttered “ok,” and the gentleman took our trays and left two mints in their place. I couldn't help but smile. With our bellies full and smiles on our faces we left, being more than satisfied.
I was beyond astonished by the entire experience and will never forget that day. I have been told many times by Chick-fil-A employees "It's my pleasure," but this time I would like to say, "Thank you Chick-fil-A, it was my pleasure." I will be coming back very soon and very often.
