I am from Alabama and have family that lives up North in Illinois. When they come to visit they make several trips to Chick-fil-A to eat, so basically they love the place!
Anyway, when Ilea and her husband Mark bought a home, the first meal they ate there was from Chick-fil-A. One night Mark was starting to cook dinner and Ilea told him that she was pregnant. The food ended up going in the fridge and they went and ate Chick-fil-A for dinner and their baby has been nicknamed Nugget.
I emailed the company and asked for an autographed picture of the Cow to give as a present, it would be funny right? Well I ended up getting so much more! The first email I received back was asking what part of Illinois she lived in but the next one left me shocked. I got an email from the Marketing Director of the Wheaton Chick-fil-A. She told me she had something much more exciting than a picture of the cow, a surprise baby shower for Ilea and Mark!! Wow, really?! And the expenses were covered too. All we had to do was invite the guests. My aunt met with her to finalize the plans and boy was Ilea surprised. There were Chick-fil-A Nuggets, Waffle Fries, drinks, cookies, and fruit all ready for everyone to enjoy. She even had a cute banner that said "Baby's first words: Chicken" of course it was written how the cow would write and spell it! We even had mini Cows on the table that had been dyed pink since the happy parents are expecting a girl. We played a game and the Cow even came to visit, dressed as a princess and the dress said "Real Princesses Eat Chicken" (again written and spelled how the Cow would). And a gift?! Really?! She received a hat with the company logo, a yellow onesie with a chicken on it and a homemade blanket from another employee named Cindy. Brittani and Cindy were both there to witness the whole thing and were so nice and polite. We are all so thankful to your company for going above and beyond to make this something so special for my cousin and her husband!
