Treated Like A Queen
It was a dark and stormy morning...O.k. not so dark but definitely about to be stormy. My 2 year-old and I just barely made it in the doors of Chick-fil-A before it started pouring down rain. We ordered our food and found a table just like we would at any other fast food restaurant. Then it all changed! An employee delivered our food to our table! WHAT?! I couldn't believe what had happened. I was at a fast food restaurant and someone was bringing my food to my table! WOW! This was a huge help considering my son, Layne, was not exactly sitting still and following my every command. We were also brought condiments and a place-mat for the kiddo. Low and behold it gets better! After eating for a few minutes, the man who took my order came over and brought me some money. Apparently he had accidentally over-charged me and was bringing me my change. Again I was impressed. How many people would bring you extra money and not just pocket it? But wait! It gets better. While Layne played in the wonderful play area, that was clean and perfect for him, I contemplated how we were going to make it to the car without getting drenched. When I finally came to the conclusion that us and all of our stuff was doomed to being soaked, my saving grace arrived! Another employee met us at the door and escorted us and what felt like a million extra things, to the car with an umbrella! He even held the umbrella while I put Layne in his car-seat. What a gentlemen! It was only after both of us and everything I owned was in the car that he returned to the store.
At first I thought this was just my lucky day. I returned to Chick-fil-A to try my luck again and was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was going to be treated like a queen every time I visited Chick-fil-A! I will continue to eat at Chick-fil-A over other establishments not only because of their great food, but because of their AMAZING customer service! Thank you Chick-fil-A for making me feel like a queen!
