Our family has been faithful customers at the La Plata, MD location since the first week it opened. We have enjoyed many a school fundraiser, play date lunch with friends, and Family Night. The list goes on and on. We are always greeted with a "Welcome to Chick-fil-A" and a smile. When you endear yourself to your customers, it is felt and greatly appreciated especially when the world outside can be trying and hectic and all the other things that seem to darken your doorstep.
My husband passed away tragically in the spring of 2012. Although we had managed to plan for the unthinkable, there were several months of uncertainty afterward. There were also many more lunches and dinners with friends, and a few Family Nights. When it came time for us to move away, there were also lots of empty Waffle Fry boxes. If it weren't for the thoughtfulness and compassion of the Flatleys, the community, many friends and family, things could have been much worse. We miss you all dearly and make it a point to stop in every time we're in town. Thank you.
