My Purse Is Gone!!
On the way home from Spring Break in Orange Beach, Alabama, we stopped at the Chick-fil-A in Alabaster, Alabama for lunch. We ordered our food and sat at one of the outside dining tables. After we finished with our meal, we disposed of our trash and used the restroom. I would discover about three states and five hours later, that I left my purse on the back of my chair. When I realized this, I immediately was ill with a panic that can't be described. I pulled the car over and started going over the places that we had stopped with my husband. I realized that it had to be at the Chick-fil-A, because that was the only place that I could remember taking my purse in. He used an app on his iPhone to get the locations phone number. He made the call while I was praying for a miracle. The Assistant Manager, Anita answered the phone. After my husband shared the situation with her, she told us that someone had turned it in to her and that my purse was locked in the stores safe!!! I can't begin to describe the gratitude that we felt for the Good Samaritan who did the right thing, but also for Anita being so diligent in locking it up. This happened late on a Saturday afternoon, so there was no chance of turning around and making it back before the store closed. So, Anita offered to take the purse to the local UPS store on Monday and ship it back to my home address. I just got my purse yesterday, safe and sound. My entire financial life was in that purse and what could have been a complete and total tragedy, turned into a miracle. I want to send a huge thank you to Anita for her absolutely outstanding CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was already in love with Chick-fil-A prior to this incident, but now I am telling everyone I know about how wonderful Anita was to us!! Please make sure that this gets passed on to the store so that she knows how much we appreciate her good deed!! Thanks!!!!
