Mother ~ Son Date Night
My sister, our sons, and myself attended Chick-fil-A Mother/Son Date Night in Danville, VA on May 5th and we had the best time! Colin Brady and his team never cease to amaze me at all they do for the community. The "Chick-fil-A brand" needs no gimmicks or ploys to get people to eat at their restaurant, yet they are always giving back in some way. It is the one place I feel like we can go in Danville and never have to worry about what we might see or hear while we are there and we ALWAYS know the food is going to be GREAT! The atmosphere is so inviting and refreshing.
The Westover Baptist Church Youth Group Boys meet there every Tuesday morning @ 6:30 for breakfast and Bible Study before heading off to school and my 14 year old son loves it! They have even named it "No Chick" because there are no girls allowed AND it is at "Chick"-fil-A. We also have other groups from the church that meet on Wednesday & Thursday mornings as well. The team at the Riverside location has gone out of their way to welcome us in.
The employees, also known as family, make them feel so special while they are there. When we go in at other times they remember my son and speak to him. They ask him how his day has been or how school is going. No matter what has been going on in our lives or no matter how busy they have been, they always make us feel like we are the most important people in the restaurant and that they appreciate us. Thank you Chick-fil-A Danville for opening your doors and your heart to the community!
