I was walking in Frontier Mall, Cheyenne WY in 1986, when I noticed a new restaurant had opened. It had the goofiest name, Chick-fil-A, but I gave it a try. The Chicken Sandwich was pretty good, but it was the sweet tea that rocked my world. It so reminded my of my mama's North Carolina tea that I made up my mind I was through with the West and it was time to head to the land of sweet tea.

WHY I LOVE Chick-fil-A
1. That chicken. OMG. My first Chick-fil-A was not until college and only then did I understand why people stood in line for just a chicken sandwich.
2. Chick-fil-A sauce is the stuff that dreams are made out of (I only wish they sold it in a bottle!)
3. Drive through service that is friendly, quick and done with a smile - no matter which one I go to!
4. Huge condiment... read more >
I live in York, Pennsylvania, and have heard about the Chick-fil-A Restaurants. So, yesterday, April 15th, 2013, I decided to visit the new one that had just opened in my town. What a pleasurable experience!
First, the people who work there were very friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. The young lady who took my order, was very nice, and courteous. She asked me for my name, which I... read more >
If you have ever been out of town with a bus full of high school students, you know they can eat quite a bit. On April 19th, we were in San Angelo, Texas for a JROTC Drill Competition at Angelo State University. Our motel advertised a continental breakfast on their website, so we had school funds for only lunch and dinner. When we checked into the hotel, we were very surprised to learn they onl... read more >
Some of my fondest memories as a child are those made at Chick-fil-A. My mom homeschooled my brothers and I through middle school, and many times we would find ourselves at our local Chick-fil-A "celebrating" another successful day of school. Whether it was just the four of us sharing lunch or a pre-arranged lunch date with a group of other homeschooling families, it was always a good day at Chick... read more >
My family and I were shopping in our local mall in Warner Robins, GA today trying to find last minute items for my kids' Easter outfits. I had partly put it off because my oldest son has been very ill, and with so many doctor appointments, he didn't feel like shopping. But it was also partly because the same little boy so desperately wanted a bow tie instead of a regular neck tie. You see he lo... read more >
For Spring Break, I decided to take my two little boys down to Florida to see my parents. We left and had a very long and stressful day with the worst traffic. I needed gas and pulled over at exit 3 in Kingsland, GA. I picked the gas station next to the Chick-fil-A because I knew that we would get a clean bathroom and some food to put us in a better mood. The boys and I went to the restroom and I... read more >
My 8 month old daughter, Kate's, daycare was closed today since we had almost a foot of snow yesterday and overnight. We both had cabin fever after being inside all day yesterday too, so I decided to take her out for our first mommy-daughter lunch date. I packed up her baby food and diaper bag and we headed to Chick-fil-A. Of course, it started snowing as soon as I left the driveway, and had got... read more >
