I'm a have been hooked on Chick-fil-A ever since December 2009. I'm from Papillion, Nebraska and we most definitely don't have a Chick-fil-A minus the one that is located inside The Mutual of Omaha. Only employees and friends of employees are allowed. When I first had Chick-fil-A I was truly addicted. At the time, I was in Georgia. The nearest one to me is a 2 and a half hour drive. So, I have be... read more >
I travel quite a bit for work and am on the road nearly every week. Recently, I was on my way to the airport and stopped for lunch with a co-worker at the Ontario Mills Parkway Chick-fil-A in Ontario, Calif.
When I arrived at the airport just 45 minutes before my flight was supposed to depart, I realized I did not have my wallet. My co-worker and I started calling all of the last places we had be... read more >
Our family loves Chick-fil-A, but our two-year old daughter, Selah, REALLY loves going to Chick-fil-A. Whether at home or on the road, we always know that it's a place where we can enjoy great food, and oftentimes a play area for Selah to get some of her abundant energy out. Recently we visited a Chick-fil-A in Ohio and attended a family night featuring a campfire, s'mores and a story-telling p... read more >
A VERY bad ice storm -by Texas standards- hit North Texas about 10 years ago. My husband was working on the “other side of lake” which, anyone from North Texas knows is a bad place to be when trying to get home to the other side of the lake! There is only 1 straight shot home - across the Lewisville Bridge - and it turns into a roller-rink when it ices up. 3 hours past rush hour he still had no... read more >
We are frequent customers at the Chick-fil-A near our house, and the employees knew us although not by name. In March, my son arrived seven weeks early and threw our world upside down. After a crazy, unexpected early delivery, my husband ran home for a few items and stopped by the Edinburgh Chick-fil-A for lunch before returning to the hospital. One of the managers, Patty, saw a hospital bracelet... read more >
After purchasing three drinks at another store within the food court, I was informed they had no drink carriers. While they were making the drinks, I was brainstorming about how I was going to carry the drinks by myself, get them to my car, and take them to the hospital where my grandfather was, for whom I had purchased the drinks. I realized it was going to be difficult, especially with the other... read more >
On Good Friday, my home was hit by a tornado that swept through St. Louis. Our oldest daughter was home when it hit and was knocked out by a tree that came through our roof. We were at the ER for many hours and up VERY late that night. We spent the night at my mom's house and were up early the next morning to go to our home. Upon arrival, most of our church family and many other friends had ar... read more >
When my children and I arrived at the Indianapolis Colts practice complex for an All-Pro Dad event, Chick-fil-A was - in my mind - just another restaurant chain with good food and a clever ad campaign. As we waited in line to enter the complex, the Chick-fil-A Cows appeared to visit kids and help alleviate the youngsters' boredom. Nice, but no biggie, I thought.
Then, this grandfatherly smiling ge... read more >
