This is not really a traditional story, per se, but more a "display" of my feelings for Chick-fil-A. I don't have a Chick-fil-A restaurant near me, so any time I do see a Chick-fil-A, I eat there. No questions asked!
I built this model because I was hungry and someone posted on Facebook about having Chick-fil-A for lunch. This took me about 10 hours to complete. Now I can say that I have my own ... read more >
My boyfriend and I have a mutual LOVE for Chick-fil-A. In fact, many of our date nights are spent there. On March 3rd, James came over to my house with lunch (Chick-fil-A of course) and told me that he had the day planned for us once we finished eating, but that I could not ask any questions.
When he got to my house I was still getting ready and I wasn't in a hurry even though he told me I neede... read more >
I married my husband at an age that some might have deemed as "after" child-bearing age, but nevertheless - we were blessed with two healthy sons who are 21 months apart. Since moving to Maryland from New York I discovered a "fast food" restaurant that really was not fast-food at all. The first time I tasted Chick-fil-A, I was like ... "now this is some good tasting food." But that was only hal... read more >
I was blessed with two beautiful daughters. Sophia, who is 5, is a perfect example of health and vitality. Her sister, Julianna, who is 18 months, was not so simple. For the first 5 months of her life, she was in a pelvic harness to get her hips back in line. When the brace came off, we found she still couldn’t hold her head up, wouldn’t put pressure on her legs, and wasn’t progressing as swiftly... read more >
I'm a Chick-fil-A girl! Of course I am - I grew up in Jonesboro, Georgia! So you can imagine my surprise when I started dating a guy from Rhode Island that had NEVER been to Chick-fil-A! I quickly introduced him to my favorite eating spot. He was instantly hooked! I did have to remind him a few times that it wasn't "Chickie-fil-A".
We now live in Rhode Island with our two small children. ... read more >
My husband is currently a 2nd LT in the Army National Guard in South Carolina. He and I have been preparing for his upcoming deployment for some time now as he has been gone from our home since 09/23/2011 doing much training and is now completing his mobilization prior to deployment.
On the day my husband was leaving for MOB and I was leaving to head back to Kansas, we shared an amazing and li... read more >
I had a rough week last week. Within 24 hours, my dad had a stroke and my sister-in-law's beloved mother was diagnosed with a rare leukemia. Yesterday, I took my 13 year old daughter to the doctor and afterward, we decided that life is just too short. We decided to take the afternoon off to spend time together. We stopped by our local Chick-fil-A for lunch. The business was packed. We placed our o... read more >
My husband is a Marine Corps officer and had spent 8 months in Iraq. He was due home during the first part of 2010 and we were planning a long-awaited wedding. We've always shared a love for CFA, and like many things, absence of a chicken sandwich makes the heart grow fonder. He longed for CFA and though I couldn't send him any nuggets, I did send endless packets of Honey Roasted BBQ and Ranch dip... read more >
