As human beings, we all have a defining moment when we realize who we are and whether that person is who we are comfortable being; and if it is not, we make the necessary changes. At 354 pounds, my defining moment came when I updated my driver’s license and saw my photo--I could not believe it, but it was me. I was tired, sad, and in physical pain. I desperately needed a change in my mind and he... read more >
We have had a pretty hard year. We lost my husband's father in September and, due to his finances, he had no funeral arrangements made and had to pay for his funeral. Thankfully our church was able to help. Then, a few months ago, my 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and a malformation in the skull. We had been on edge because of everything that had happened. We prayed... read more >
Kouper was diagnosed with celiac disease at the age of 6. She is an amazing child. I am so proud of how well she is able to manage her gluten free diet at home, school, and everywhere. As a child having to give up some of the most common child foods such as chicken nuggets, kid's meals, cookies and cakes when dining out or on the road is extremely difficult.
Because of Chick-fil-A, it has mad... read more >
Chick-fil-A can feel like a treat for us. Like many, we live paycheck to paycheck and can't always afford to eat out. I had been sick all week, and just wasn't in the mood to cook on Friday night and an original sandwich sounded so good. We ordered two meals, along with two additional orders of 12 nuggets. We drove through, got our dipping sauces and Chick-fil-A mayo - other mayo just isn't right ... read more >

Going to lunch every day at Chick-fil-A gives my folks a chance to visit with the owner/operator, Gary Harris and his staff. Gary al... read more >
As my usual Saturday morning started off, I sat at my local Chick-fil-A eating my Chick-n-Minis and Hash Browns. Then here come some of my favorite CFA people; trying to hide something! They had got me a "BIG" Snoopy for Christmas (they all know Snoopy and CFA are my favorite things) and the team members had taken time out to write a note and sign him. I don't think I have ever been speechless b... read more >
Why I love Chick-fil-A (It's not about the food)
The last several years of my dad’s life, he and my stepmother went to their local Chick-fil-A for lunch every day. There they were treated as treasured family members by the staff and other regular customers. It literally made their day.
Everybody there was their friend. Even the young, teenaged counter workers came to chat with them. They took th... read more >
Chick-fil-A, although just a fast food establishment, will always hold a special place in my heart. It may sound silly, but it's true.
Starting when I was only 1 1/2 years old, my dad and I would go to the mall every Saturday at 12pm. Our first stop was always Chick-fil-A. We absolutely loved eating at Chick-fil-A, and I always looked forward to my special Saturdays with Daddy, getting my delicio... read more >
