Eight years ago, I was a young bride on my wedding day. I had just finished with my hair and makeup and had to pick up my groom's tux (a nightmare in itself!). The tux had still not arrived (three hours before the ceremony--eek!) and I was beginning to have some serious hunger pangs. My bridesmaids had all headed to the church and I went into my local Chick-fil-A for a bite to eat. I ordered s... read more >
Eleven days after coming home from Ghana with two new children I was in desperate need of some time "alone". We now have four children at home and they are all adjusting to our new normal so I knew it would be impossible to get away completely alone. I settled for taking the very clingy, new 5 year old sweetie with me to Chick-fil-A.
On the way, I called another adoptive mom to see if we could p... read more >
I had the best childhood...great parents, activities, friends, family....and one of the most special moments was getting to share Chick-fil-A with my Mom. We both loved the Original Sandwich...no condiments. Perfect as was...with a pickle and delicious Waffle Fries you couldn't get anywhere else. It was a special treat to get Chick-fil-A. We were working part time jobs trying to make our way through school on very little money, so going out to restaurants for special occasions was out of the question. My husband had worked at Chick-fil-A for sev... read more >

They presented each teacher with a $500 check to assist them with furthering their education. One teacher is working on her Doctorate, another is taking classes to complete a master's program, and th... read more >
You might laugh, or scratch your head, if you heard about the winter storm in Birmingham that shut the city down for two days. True, it was only a couple of inches of snow, but for a city with no salt trucks or snow scrapers, and, with temperatures in the teens – it was enough to create a dangerous icy situation.
Last night, Jan 28th, it took me 1.5 hours to get out of downtown Birmingham to Ful... read more >
Yesterday, a snow storm hit Birmingham, AL and shut down the entire city. Travel was almost impossible and it took hours to travel just a few miles. I was one of those unfortunate travelers.
People were out of their cars helping other stranded motorists, pushing cars and giving encouragement. Surprisingly, in the middle of all the mess, here comes two Chick-fil-A employees passing out orange jui... read more >
