Lucy Soto loves yummy food and good stories - and is grateful when the two connect. A native of Medellin, Colombia, her family hopped continents when she was young. She eventually ended up in the “other Columbia,” where she graduated from the University of South Carolina and began her reporting career. Having worked in communications for nearly 25 years—most notably with the Associated Press and the Atlanta Journal Constitution—Soto is now a freelance writer. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and four children, all of whom share her love of food and stories.
