There’s one thing these 10 states have in common: they can’t get enough nuggets.

Do you count on Chick-fil-A Nugget 8-Counts several times a week? Your love for one of our menu favorites may have helped put your state on the map.

From the home of one of the seven wonders of the world to a northern shopping mecca, customers in these 10 states ate the most nuggets in 2017, as determined by percentage of nugget sales, proving it's still all about the classics:

10. Ohio

Home to the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame, Cedar Point and the NFL Hall of Fame, there’s no shortage of fun or fame in Ohio. With more than 60 Chick-fil-A restaurants across the state, there’s also no shortage of the real stars of our menu: Chick-fil-A Nuggets.

9. New Jersey

Northern Jersey boasts more shopping malls per square mile than anywhere in the nation, but if there’s one thing New Jerseyans love more than retail therapy, it’s nugget therapy. Our locations in Garden State Plaza and Paramus Park Shopping Center are perfect for those who love both. Venture across the state, and you’ll find 34 additional New Jersey locations that offer a quick Chick-fil-A fix.

8. Arizona

Take a trip through Arizona and you’ll find the Grand Canyon, one of the seven wonders of the world. There are 39 Chick-fil-A restaurants located across the state, which is pretty impressive, too!

7. Wyoming

It’s no coincidence that the home to Ole Faithful loves to order the ‘ole faithful’ of the Chick-fil-A menu; these residents know you can’t go wrong with nuggets.

6. New Hampshire

New Hampshire may be the granite state, but these locals certainly aren’t taking the only two Chick-fil-A restaurants in the state for “granite.”

5. New Mexico

With a cow population that rivals the human population, New Mexico’s cattle community might be calling the shots when it comes to making sure this state “Eats Mor Chikin.”

4. Oklahoma

Oklahoma has more Bigfoot sightings than any state in America; they even host an annual Bigfoot Festival. If he ever decides to come out of hiding, it would be our pleasure to serve him a couple (hundred) nuggets.

3. West Virginia

West Virginia is considered the southernmost northern state and the northernmost southern state in the country. The only mouthful bigger than this fun fact is the mouthful of nuggets West Virginia residents are eating every day.

2. Louisiana

Even the crawfish capital of the world can’t resist trading shellfish for these bite-sized pieces of perfection.

1. Utah

The name “Utah” came from the Ute Native American tribe and means “people of the mountains.” After earning the top spot on this list, we’re thinking a name change might be in order – “people of the nuggets” has a nice ring to it!

Can’t get enough nuggets? You can now order a 30-count – enough to share with a friend! Check out the cities we’ve dubbed Chicken Town, USA, and the top cities that like it hot at Chick-fil-A!
