How well do you know the teams facing off in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game?

Finally, the long-awaited college football season is here. For the next few months, Saturdays are sacred — reserved for school colors, tailgating and four quarters of pure pageantry and excitement.

This year’s college football season begins the same way it has for the last eight years: with the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. On September 3, the Georgia Bulldogs and North Carolina Tar Heels will open their seasons at the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, in their 31st head-to-head matchup. Although their first game against each other didn’t take place until 1895, the two schools have been rivals since the late 1700s — both arguing they own the title of the nation’s first public university.

Think you know all there is to know about these two schools (and their 230+ year histories)? Take our quiz to find out.
