Chick-fil-A®, Inc. has selected Robert Peterson as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Americana at Brand. Peterson will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 80 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Glendale area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Locally Owned and Operated

A native of Southern California, Robert Peterson grew up in Pasadena and has lived in Glendale for the past seven years. A longtime fan of the Chick-fil-A food, Peterson worked for a nonprofit youth organization in Pasadena before joining Chick-fil-A E. Colorado Boulevard as the restaurant’s Senior Leadership Director. Working alongside the restaurant Operator taught him the ins and outs of running a restaurant, while his passion for serving the community allowed him to connect with guests far beyond the restaurant walls. After a year and a half, Peterson was selected to open his own restaurant at Westfield Century City Mall in 2017, where he has spent the past three years building relationships with his team and serving guests. Now, with the opening of his new restaurant at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, Peterson is looking forward to bringing Chick-fil-A to the community he calls home.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to open a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Glendale,” says Robert Peterson, Operator of Chick-fil-A Americana at Brand. “This community means so much to our family, and I cannot wait to provide great food and premium hospitality to everyone that enters our doors.”
