Restaurant to Bring Approximately 90 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
ARDEN, N.C. (Nov. 9, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is slated to open for business in Arden on Friday, Nov. 12. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Bryan Strole as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Airport Road. Strole will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 90 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Airport Road is located at 130 Airport Road, near the intersection of Airport Road and Watson Road, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Airport Road will open for drive-thru, mobile ordering, dine-in and carry-out service, with third-party delivery available shortly after the opening. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app or online ordering. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Airport Road will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in the Arden area with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Asheville area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Airport Road is locally owned and operated by North Carolina native Bryan Strole. His Chick-fil-A journey started in high school as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, North Carolina. A family affair, his dad managed another nearby Chick-fil-A restaurant in Raleigh, eventually becoming an Operator himself, and they often shared stories and talked business—a period of time which Strole says is still the highlight of his career to this day. After high school, Strole served in the U.S. Air Force for six years, then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2011 and a master of business administration from Liberty University in 2015. Influenced by his dad’s passion for the business, Strole set his sights on a career at Chick-fil-A and applied to become an Operator. In 2016, Strole was thrilled to be selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Asheville Mall, where he served the Asheville community for five years. With more than 10 years of Chick-fil-A experience, Strole is excited to serve in a new role as the local Operator of Chick-fil-A Airport Road. Alongside his wife, Lacey, and their daughter, Strole looks forward to bringing a new Chick-fil-A restaurant to the Arden community and serving his neighbors and guests with great food and genuine hospitality.
“As an Operator, my primary goal is to have a positive influence on my Team Members and help them become the best versions of themselves,” said Strole. “My hope is for Chick-fil-A Airport Road to become a place where every person who enters our doors is cared for.”
