Restaurant to Bring Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
BELMONT, N.C. (July 22, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is slated to open for business in Belmont on Tuesday, July 27. Chick-fil-A®, Inc. has selected Natasha Gilbert as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A South Point Township. Gilbert will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests.
Chick-fil-A South Point Township is located at 925 S. Point Road, near the intersection of R L Stowe Road and South Point Road, and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A South Point Township will open for limited dine-in and drive-thru, with mobile curbside service and third-party delivery available shortly after the opening. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app or through online ordering. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A South Point Township will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Belmont with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Charlotte area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A South Point Township is locally owned and operated by Natasha Gilbert. Originally from Madison, Wis., Gilbert began her career with Chick-fil-A as a restaurant Team Member in high school and upon graduating from Wingate University, Gilbert set her sights on becoming a Chick-fil-A Operator. As a result of her hard work and dedication, Gilbert was thrilled to be selected as the franchised Operator of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Milwaukee, Wis. Most recently, Gilbert has spent the past 11 years serving the Belmont community as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Belmont. Alongside her husband, Tony, Gilbert is excited to continue building meaningful relationships in the community, serving as the Operator of both Chick-fil-A Belmont and Chick-fil-A South Point Township.
