Restaurant to Bring Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2021) – Chick-fil-A® West Boynton Beach, located on West Boynton Beach Boulevard, is slated to open for business on Thursday, Feb. 11. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Justin Mize as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of this new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Boynton Beach. Mize will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving Guests. Chick-fil-A West Boynton Beach is located at 8796 Boynton Beach Blvd. and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

At Chick-fil-A, safe service is our first priority. Chick-fil-A West Boynton Beach will open its dining room at 50% capacity and via drive-thru service and mobile curbside pickup, with third-party delivery service available shortly after the opening. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A West Boynton Beach will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Boynton Beach with free
Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Boynton Beach area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Locally Owned and Operated

Justin Mize’s journey with Chick-fil-A began at the age of 15 when he took a part-time role as a Team Member in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from Samford University, he grew close to a local Operator who inspired his vision of becoming a Chick-fil-A Operator himself. Four years later, Mize was selected to be the Operator of Chick-fil-A Largo, and three years after that, he relocated back to Boynton Beach to settle close to family and operate Chick-fil-A Boynton Beach Boulevard, where he has spent the past five years. Mize will continue to operate Chick-fil-A Boynton Beach Boulevard alongside Chick-fil-A West Boynton Beach.

Mize, his wife, Sarah Beth, and their two children are excited to further serve the local community. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and spending time with his family on the water.

“We love our community here in Boynton Beach and cannot wait to continue the work we have started,” said Mize. “I’m honored to play a part the development of my Team Members. Helping them understand their unique gifts and maximizing those gifts to achieve future goals is what keeps me going every day.”
