Restaurant to Bring Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
BRYAN, Texas (July 19, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in Bryan on Thursday, July 22. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Blake Wilson as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A West Bryan. Wilson will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A West Bryan is located at 1542 W. Villa Maria Rd., just off North Harvey Mitchell Pkwy., and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A West Bryan will open for drive-thru, carry-out and dine-in service. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A West Bryan will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Bryan with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Brazos County area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A West Bryan is locally owned and operated by Blake Wilson. Wilson’s journey with Chick-fil-A began in high school when he became a Team Member at a local restaurant near his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, remaining in the role while earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Shortly after graduating, Wilson started his career as a Finance Advisor at Colorado Technical University but soon returned to Chick-fil-A to pursue his dream of becoming an Operator. And in 2017, he was selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Sunset Mall in San Angelo, Texas. Today, Wilson and his wife, Aubrey, look forward to welcoming and serving the Bryan community in this new restaurant.
