Restaurant Brings Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes With Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year
BUENA PARK, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Buena Park community on Thursday, Nov. 3. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Steven Hollins as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A 91 & Orangethorpe.
Located at 5960 Orangethorpe Ave., near the intersection of Valley View Street and Artesia Freeway, Chick-fil-A 91 & Orangethorpe will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A 91 & Orangethorpe can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. In Buena Park, Hollins will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Hollins opened his first restaurant in the Buena Park area, Chick-fil-A La Palma Ave, 10 years ago and is thrilled to bring another restaurant to the community. He first began his Chick-fil-A career as a Team Member at Chick-fil-A Georgetown in Austin, Texas, after moving from New York to attend Baylor University. During school, Hollins worked at a Chick-fil-A location in Waco, and after graduation, he moved back to Austin to become the general manager of Chick-fil-A Georgetown. Hollins was later selected to open Chick-fil-A La Palma Ave, which is when he moved, with his wife Nicole, to the West Coast. Together, they have enjoyed planting their roots, along with their three daughters, in the Buena Park area.

Caring for the Buena Park Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Anaheim area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A 91 & Orangethorpe is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Buena Park area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
