Restaurant Brings Approximately 150 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® Drive-Thru Only restaurant will begin serving the San Jose community on Thursday, Sept. 29. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Zach Jones as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Silver Creek Valley & 101.

Located at 5815 Silver Creek Valley Place, near the Coyote Creek Trail, Chick-fil-A Silver Creek Valley & 101 will be open for drive-thru from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with carry-out service from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Silver Creek Valley & 101 can place an order for pickup or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. In San Jose, Jones will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 150 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.

An Atlanta native, eating Chick-fil-A was a staple growing up for Jones, including enjoying Chick-fil-A as a postgame meal during his years as a collegiate football player. Jones graduated from Georgia State University in 2013 with a degree in marketing, and soon after, he began his Chick-fil-A career as an assistant manager in Macon, Ga. In 2017, Jones and his wife, Kennsington, relocated to Las Vegas where he worked for an area Chick-fil-A before working his way through Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program. Together, they spent the next two and a half years traveling the West Coast assisting with new restaurant openings and further establishing Chick-fil-A in the region.

Caring for the San Jose Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater San Jose area to aid in the fight against hunger.
