Restaurants to Collectively Bring Approximately 200 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Los Angeles Area
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 15, 2021) – Chick-fil-A® today announced two additional restaurants opening Southern California on Thursday, Jan. 21. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Grace Chang as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A I-15 at Cantu Galleano in Eastvale and Chris Lewis as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Plaza Del Obispo in San Juan Capistrano. Chang and Lewis will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 200 collective full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving Guests. Two additional Chick-fil-A restaurants opened in the area earlier this month in Perris and Downtown Los Angeles, bringing the total number of Chick-fil-A locations in Southern California to 101.
Chick-fil-A I-15 at Cantu Galleano Ranch Road is located at 5080 Hamner Avenue, next to The Station at Eastvale and Costco, and Chick-fil-A Plaza Del Obispo is located in Downtown San Juan Capistrano at 31872 Del Obispo Street. Both restaurants will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
At Chick-fil-A, safe service is our first priority. New Chick-fil-A restaurants will take additional time to review operations and make sure appropriate precautions are in place before opening their dining rooms, to ensure the safety of Guests and Team Members. Currently, Chick-fil-A I-15 at Cantu Galleano Ranch Road and Chick-fil-A Plaza Del Obispo will open for drive-thru service, as well as third-party delivery shortly after the openings. Guests can take advantage of ordering and payment through the Chick-fil-A mobile app. To learn more about Chick-fil-A’s response to the coronavirus, please visit chick-fil-a.com/covid.
In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, these two new restaurants have each identified 100 local heroes making an impact in the Eastvale and San Juan Capistrano communities and will plan to surprise them with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, the Chick-fil-A Foundation has partnered with Feeding America to donate $25,000 to a local food bank for every new restaurant opening. To aid in the fight against hunger, the opening of these two restaurants will come with a combined $50,000 donation from the Chick-fil-A Foundation to organizations in Southern California that are doing good work to care for others.
