Restaurant to Bring Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Jan. 11, 2021) – Chick-fil-A® West Fayetteville, located across from the Westside Village Shopping Center next to Aldi, is slated to open for business on Thursday, Jan. 14. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Colby Burnette as the independent franchise Owner and Operator of the new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Fayetteville. Burnette will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving Guests. Chick-fil-A West Fayetteville is located at 7620 S. Raeford Road, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
At Chick-fil-A, safe service is our first priority. New Chick-fil-A restaurants will take additional time to review operations and make sure appropriate precautions are in place before opening their dining rooms, to ensure the safety of Guests and Team Members. Currently, Chick-fil-A West Fayetteville will open for drive-thru and mobile curbside service, with delivery available shortly after the opening. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A West Fayetteville will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Fayetteville with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, the Chick-fil-A Foundation has partnered with Feeding America to donate $25,000 to a local food bank for every new restaurant opening. To aid in the fight against hunger, this donation will go toward organizations in Cumberland County that are doing good work to care for others.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A West Fayetteville will be locally owned and operated by Colby Burnette. Born and raised in the Carolinas, Burnette spent his whole career in the restaurant and retail industries learning the ins and outs of operating a business.
Leveraging his business experience and leadership skills, Burnette set his sights on the Chick-fil-A franchisee selection process and applied to become a Restaurant Operator. Shortly after, Burnette was selected to become the Operator of Chick-fil-A Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa, where he developed a passion for mentoring his Team Members and built meaningful relationships with Guests. After serving the Dubuque community for four years alongside his wife, Krisi, and three children, Burnette is excited to return to the Carolinas and make a positive impact in the Fayetteville area through this new Restaurant.
