Restaurant to Bring More Than 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
HOUSTON, Texas (Dec. 13, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is slated to open for business in Houston on Thursday, Dec. 16. Chick-fil-A®, Inc. has selected Jason Deyo as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Beltway 8 & Pearland Parkway. Deyo will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing more than 100 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Beltway 8 & Pearland Parkway is located at 11520 Pearland Parkway, near the intersection of S Sam Houston Parkway E and Pearland Parkway, and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Beltway 8 & Pearland Parkway will open for drive-thru, mobile ordering, dine-in and carry-out service, with third-party delivery available shortly after the opening. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app or online ordering. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Beltway 8 & Pearland Parkway will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in the Houston area with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Houston area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Beltway 8 & Pearland Parkway is locally owned and operated by Jason Deyo, who has lived in the Pearland area for the past 20 years. This is Deyo’s second Chick-fil-A restaurant and he will continue to operate Chick-fil-A Pearland Parkway, just three miles away from his new location. Deyo’s Chick-fil-A career started in Houston in 2014 after 15 years of working for big-box retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes and Target. He served as the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A 45 & Crosstimbers for four years before becoming the Operator of Chick-fil-A Pearland Parkway in 2018. Alongside his wife, Julie, who assists with talent acquisition and leadership development for the restaurants, and their three children, Deyo is excited to bring a new Chick-fil-A restaurant to the Pearland area and continue serving guests great-tasting food and genuine hospitality at both Chick-fil-A Pearland Parkway and Chick-fil-A Beltway 8 & Pearland Parkway.
