Locally Owned and Operated

A native of Montgomery, Ala., Peterson joined Chick-fil-A after a 20-year career in the Marine Corps. Over the course of his Marine Corps career, he served in many roles and capacities around the world from recruiter to instructor and most recently as the Director of Advertising, Marine Corps Recruiting Command, headquartered in Quantico, Va. A combat veteran, he was also deployed to Iraq in 2004 to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After retiring from the Marine Corps, Peterson sought out a career that would allow him to give back to the community, serve and invest in others, and live out the values learned during his career of service—all of which Peterson said he found in Chick-fil-A.

In 2013 he was selected as the franchise owner of Chick-fil-A Frederick Blvd. in Portsmouth, Va., where he oversaw operations until moving to Las Vegas in the fall of 2019 with his wife of 29 years to open Chick-fil-A Strip at Harmon. After passing the torch to a new local franchise owner of Chick-fil-A Strip at Harmon, Peterson and his family are thrilled to be opening Chick-fil-A Hwy 215 & Flamingo.

“I’ve had an incredible journey with Chick-fil-A, and I’m grateful to continue growing with the brand in the place my family and I call home,” said Peterson. “We are excited to welcome everyone into our new restaurant, providing them with great food and a remarkable experience.”
