Restaurant Brings Approximately 120 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year
MCCOMB, Miss. (Nov. 28, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the McComb community on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Mark Lindsey as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A McComb.
Located at 106 Edgewood Drive, Chick-fil-A McComb will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on opening day. Beginning Friday, Dec. 2, the restaurant will resume normal operating hours from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A McComb can place an order for pickup, dine-in or curbside on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards.
The McComb restaurant joins more than 10 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Jackson, Miss. market.

As full-time, hands-on leaders in their restaurants and communities, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators proudly reside in the communities in which they serve.
In McComb, Lindsey will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Lindsey has strong family ties and past job experiences in McComb, which is also his wife’s hometown. Lindsey began his path to Chick-fil-A McComb after working with the International Mission Board in Central Asia. After returning from his time overseas in 2018, he started working at Chick-fil-A at the Shoppes at Bartlett outside of Memphis, Tenn., initially as the director of food safety and later as the director of talent.
After three years of impactful leadership experience in the restaurant, Lindsey expressed interest in opening a McComb Chick-fil-A location and was selected to be the Operator.
“I am thrilled to start serving and investing in the McComb community,” said Lindsey. “I have always had family here, so it has felt like coming home. I want to bring the same sense of belonging to our guests and Team Members.”
As the new location opens, Lindsey says he is most looking forward to enriching the lives of those who enter the four walls of the restaurant.
“We want to become a vital part of the neighborhood,” he added. “I’m really looking forward to showing care to our community and building long-lasting relationships.”
Caring for the McComb Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the McComb area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A McComb is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in Pike County by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
Lindsey’s restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.
