Restaurant to Bring Approximately 150 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 18, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in North Miami Beach on Thursday, Oct. 21. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Elias Feliz as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A North Miami Beach. Feliz will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 150 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A North Miami Beach is located at 820 N Miami Beach Blvd., adjacent to Jefferson Plaza, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A North Miami Beach will open for dine in, drive-thru and carry out. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A® App or through online ordering. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A North Miami Beach will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in North Miami Beach with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Miami area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Locally Owned and Operated

Chick-fil-A North Miami Beach Owner/Operator Elias Feliz immigrated to the U.S. from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, when he was eight years old. His family settled in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he lived until moving to South Florida eight years ago. Prior to beginning his Chick-fil-A journey, Feliz served in a variety of roles at JPMorgan Chase Bank, rising from personal banker to business relationship manager. After meeting the Operator of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Miami area, Feliz was inspired to make a career shift and pursue the opportunity to give back to his community as a Chick-fil-A Operator. In 2018, he was selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Pembroke Lakes Mall, where he served for three years. Feliz looks forward to continuing his career at Chick-fil-A North Miami Beach and hopes his journey from immigrant to business owner will help inspire others to pursue their dreams.
