Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Fox Chapel is locally-owned and operated by Micah Skipper, who previously owned Chick-fil-A Morgantown Mall in Morgantown, W.V. Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Skipper began his career with Chick-fil-A in 2001 working as a Restaurant Team Member throughout high school and college. During that time, Skipper was awarded a Remarkable Futures Scholarship from Chick-fil-A, Inc., which honors Team Members who demonstrate leadership skills and a remarkable commitment to their communities and education. Using his scholarship, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University in Sport Management with a concentration in Marketing & Sales.
After pursuing other career opportunities post-college, Skipper returned to Chick-fil-A in 2014 and quickly advanced in his role as a Team Member to become a Restaurant Director of Development at Chick-fil-A Albemarle Road in Charlotte, N.C. After serving at the restaurant level, he got a position in 2015 as a Field Events Trainer at the Chick-fil-A corporate office in Atlanta. A year later, Skipper applied for the Chick-fil-A Leadership Development Program and was selected in 2017 to become the independent franchised Owner and Operator of Chick-fil-A Morgantown Mall. After three years of serving at Chick-fil-A Morgantown Mall, Skipper now lives locally in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Catherine, and looks forward to opening the new Chick-fil-A Fox Chapel location and developing relationships in the local community.
“I began my Chick-fil-A career as a Restaurant Team Member in 2001, and I’ve since had the opportunity to serve Guests and help Team Members grow their careers at restaurants around the country,” said Skipper. “I’m excited to bring that experience to my new team and inspire them to provide best-in-class service and care to every Guest who comes in contact with Chick-fil-A Fox Chapel.”
