Restaurant Brings Approximately 115 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community, Honors 100 Local Heroes with Free Chick-fil-A Meals for a Year
PLYMOUTH, Minn. (Nov. 7, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Plymouth community on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Scott Peterson as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Plymouth.
Located at 3005 Harbor Lane N, on the corner on Harbor Lane N and Fernbrook Lane N, Chick-fil-A Plymouth will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Plymouth can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. The Chick-fil-A Plymouth restaurant joins more than 20 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Minneapolis market.

In Plymouth, Peterson will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 115 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Born and raised in Minnesota, just northeast of Plymouth, Peterson’s first taste of Chick-fil-A was just weeks into working at a nearby restaurant location. Passionate about the restaurant’s lively atmosphere and the ability to serve people in a tangible way, Peterson set his sights on becoming a Chick-fil-A Operator. After starting as a Team Member in 2016, Peterson transitioned to the general manager role through the mentorship of his fellow employees at the restaurant. Soon after, he was selected for the Leadership Development Program. After 24 months on the road supporting new restaurant openings, Peterson’s dream became a reality when he was selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Plymouth. Peterson and his wife Whitney are thrilled to serve the community they grew up in with great-tasting food and Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality.
“I am humbled to have had the opportunity to transition from Team Member to the Leadership Development Program and now to becoming an Operator,” said Peterson. “My goal as an Operator is to develop caring leaders by investing in our Team Members and creating a place where they can learn and grow.”
Caring for the Plymouth Community
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Minneapolis area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Plymouth is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Plymouth area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
Peterson’s restaurant will be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.
