The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Columbus area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A is the only job Ohio native Zach Mallare has ever had, starting in high school when he became a Team Member to pay for his new car. During his employment, Mallare was motivated by the personal care and investment from his leadership team and Operator, and was even awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Chick-fil-A to further his education. The experience inspired Mallare to continue working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant while attending college at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. After ten years of serving in a variety of roles, from leadership positions to operating Chick-fil-A Polaris Fashion Place Mall in Columbus, Mallare and his family are thrilled to return to the Reynoldsburg-Pickerington area where Mallare grew up.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve the Reynoldsburg community with a new Chick-fil-A restaurant,” said Mallare. “I’ve seen firsthand the difference that Chick-fil-A can make for its Team Members and guests, and I look forward to making a positive impact for my own team and my neighbors.”

Team Member Investment
Chick-fil-A franchised Operators are committed to hiring, developing and retaining top talent, and providing a positive work environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. They also offer their Team Members opportunities for flexible work hours and leadership growth, competitive pay and benefits, hands-on training and mentoring, and the chance to apply for scholarships to support their continuing education.
