Restaurant to Bring Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
RIDGELAND, Miss. (March 14, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in Ridgeland on March 16. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Chris Rosson as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Ridgeland. Rosson will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Ridgeland is located at 685 Highland Colony Pkwy and will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Ridgeland will open for drive-thru and dine-in service. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Ridgeland will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in the Ridgeland community with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Jackson area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Ridgeland is locally owned and operated by Chris Rosson, who first moved to the Ridgeland community in 1984 to open Chick-fil-A Northpark Mall, one of the eight Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Jackson area. Since then, Rosson has opened two additional Chick-fil-A restaurants, Chick-fil-A County Line Road and Chick-fil-A Madison. A seasoned Chick-fil-A Operator who has seen the Jackson area grow and flourish over nearly four decades, Rosson is an active member of his community as the founding member and past president of the City of Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the City of Madison Chamber. An avid fan of Chick-fil-A and the opportunities to give back to the community as an Operator, Rosson has recruited seven individuals to become Chick-fil-A Operators as well, including his brother in Mobile, Ala. He looks forward to serving his community as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Madison and Chick-fil-A Ridgeland alongside his wife and two children.
