Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A has selected Vancouver resident, John Dombroski, as the Operator of this new location. Dombroski has lived in Vancouver since 2016, when he opened his first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Cascade Park. Over the past 4 years, Dombroski has made a significant impact throughout the community by cultivating relationships with local organizations, employing and mentoring over 100 Team Members, and donating thousands of meals to frontline workers during the COVID-19 crisis. Dombroski currently serves as the chair-elect of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce as well as on the Board of Directors for Identity Clark County.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dombroski graduated from the United States Air Force Academy. He first experienced Chick-fil-A as a cadet while training in the mountains of Colorado, and the great tasting food left a lasting impression. In 2011, he found his way to Chick-fil-A as an hourly Team Member in Pensacola, Fla. and within five years, he and his family were newfound Vancouver residents opening Chick-fil-A Cascade Park. With the opening of Chick-fil-A Vancouver Mall Drive, Dombroski will now oversee the daily operations of both restaurants. He is thrilled to be opening his second restaurant in the community he now calls home, and he looks forward to welcoming and serving all guests.
“We are a purpose-driven business,” says John Dombroski, Operator of Chick-fil-A Vancouver Mall Drive. “We exist to care for our community and to nourish the whole person on both sides of counter. This purpose guides and shapes how we serve our guests; how we develop and invest in our team, and how we source and prepare our food. We are excited to partner with the Vancouver Mall to bring our second Chick-fil-A restaurant to Vancouver and we are looking forward to serving the community at our new restaurant on January 7.”

Quality Ingredients; Delicious Food
Chick-fil-A focuses on serving customers great-tasting food made with high quality ingredients. Chick-fil-A Vancouver Mall Drive will partner with regional farmers and suppliers to source as many locally- and regionally-grown ingredients as possible. The restaurant will source all of its bread from Portland-based Franz Bakery, and all potatoes used to make hash browns and Waffle Potato Fries from the Columbia River Basin. Additionally, all of the apples used to supply Chick-fil-A's West Region restaurants are grown in the Pacific Northwest, sourcing more than 2.25 million pounds of apples from the region each year. Chick-fil-A Lemonade is made from three simple ingredients: lemon juice, sugar and water.
All U.S. Chick-fil-A restaurants now serve chicken raised with No Antibiotics Ever, starting from the egg.
