Restaurant to Bring Approximately 140 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
WESTFIELD, Ind. (March 28, 2022) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in Westfield on Friday, April 1, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Daniel Moore as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing. Moore will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 140 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing is located at 763 E. Tournament Trail, near the intersection of W. Main Street and Wheeler Road, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing will open for drive-thru, mobile ordering, dine-in and carry-out service. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Westfield with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Indianapolis area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Wheeler Landing is locally owned and operated by Daniel Moore. Moore’s journey with Chick-fil-A started in 2007 as a Team Member, where he served guests and grew his leadership skills. After graduating from Georgia College & State University, Moore was selected for Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program, growing both his understanding of the business and love for the brand. In 2015, Moore was selected as an Operator for Chick-fil-A Circle Centre Mall, and he has been serving the Indianapolis community ever since. Moore has enjoyed living in the Indianapolis area for six years and looks forward to joining the Westfield community with his wife, Erin, and their eight children.
