Restaurant to Bring Approximately 140 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ (Dec. 27, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant is slated to open for business in North Brunswick on Wednesday, Dec. 29. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Carlos Colon as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A North Brunswick. Colon will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 140 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A North Brunswick is located at 2313 US Highway 1, and will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A North Brunswick will open for drive-thru, mobile ordering, dine-in and carry-out service, with third-party delivery available shortly after the opening. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A North Brunswick will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Middlesex County with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater central New Jersey area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A North Brunswick is locally owned and operated by Carlos Colon. Originally from Puerto Rico, Colon’s first Chick-fil-A experience was during a vacation in Orlanda, Florida, where his love for the Chick-fil-A® Nuggets and Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries® was quickly born. That wasn’t the only love Colon found at Chick-fil-A, though. Prior to beginning his career at the restaurant, he met his wife, Erica, over a lunch with mutual friends at a Chick-fil-A in Virginia. After camping out and participating in numerous Chick-fil-A First 100™ events, he began a Chick-fil-A career, which includes time as a Team Member, an interim manager and as Operator of Chick-fil-A Woodbridge Center in New Jersey. Alongside his wife and their three children, Colon is excited to channel this experience with the opening of Chick-fil-A North Brunswick and serve his community with great food and genuine hospitality.
