ORLANDO (August 9, 2021) – Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A, Inc. is excited to announce two new locations opening this month in the Orlando area. Chick-fil-A Universal Blvd and Chick-fil-A Vineland Pointe will both open on August 12. These two openings will create employment opportunities for approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members and bring the total number of Chick-fil-A locations in the Orlando area to 19, excluding licensed and delivery kitchen locations.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Universal Blvd and Chick-fil-A Vineland Pointe will open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m, Monday through Saturday. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app or through online ordering. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Universal Blvd and Chick-fil-A Vineland Pointe will each be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Orlando with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant openings, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 for each one to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Orlando area to aid in the fight against hunger.

Each Chick-fil-A restaurant is a locally owned and operated business. Chick-fil-A franchise owners live and work in the community in which their restaurants are located and are highly involved in the day-to-day operations at the restaurant.
Chick-fil-A has selected Joseph Addeo as the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Universal Blvd, located just under 15 minutes away from Universal Studios at 9500 McKenna Dr. With 18 years of experience serving the Orlando community as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Sand Lake Road, Addeo looks forward to creating opportunities for Team Members at his new restaurant and serving great food with premium hospitality.
Rucco Guarisco also brings a wealth of experience as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Vineland Pointe, located less than 10 minutes away from Disney World at 11709 Daryl Carter Parkway. The Operator of Chick-fil-A Lake Buena Vista for 17 years, Guarisco will continue to oversee operations for both locations while deepening his involvement in the local Orlando community and creating memorable experiences for those who dine at his restaurants.
Addeo and Guarisco are longtime friends and were former colleagues before becoming Chick-fil-A Operators down the road from one another. After more than a decade of friendship, Addeo and Guarisco are now opening two Chick-fil-A restaurants in their shared community on the same day. Together, Addeo and Guarisco have more than 40 years of experience serving Orlando and its flourishing tourist economy.
