REDDING, Ca. (March 8, 2021) – Chick-fil-A Hilltop & Dana, located in front of Mt. Shasta Mall, is slated to open for business on March 11. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Ahab Alhindi as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of this new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Redding. Alhindi will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving Guests. Chick-fil-A Hilltop & Dana is located at 900 Dana Drive and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Hilltop & Dana will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Redding with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners in Shasta County to aid in the fight against hunger.

Locally Owned and Operated

  Chick-fil-A Hilltop & Dana is locally owned and operated by Ahab Alhindi. Originally from Yonkers, N.Y., Alhindi has lived in Redding for the past 12 years, along with his wife, Jessica, and their four children. Alhindi is no stranger to the restaurant industry. Before beginning his career with Chick-fil-A, he owned two local restaurants, Madayne Eatery & Espresso and Madayne Grill & Espresso. He is also a published author with a background in leadership coaching and formerly owned a company aimed at teaching other restaurant owners on how to train and develop leaders in their communities.

Alhindi has a passion for community service and was previously honored by Faces of Redding, a local art initiative spotlighting community heroes in Shasta County, for the support his family and businesses offered during the 2018 Carr Fire. Alhindi looks forward to continuing to serve his community and his Restaurant Team Members with the opening of Chick-fil-A Hilltop & Dana.
