RENTON, Wa. (March 22, 2021) – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is slated to open for business in the Seattle area on Thursday, March 25. Chick-fil-A®, Inc. has selected Erik Lee as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Ranier Avenue at Renton Center. Lee will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 150 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Rainier Avenue at Renton Center, located just south of the South 3rd Street and Rainier Avenue South intersection, is located at 375 Rainier Avenue South and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
At Chick-fil-A, safe service is a top priority. To ensure social distancing and limit contact between Team Members and guests, Chick-fil-A Rainier Avenue at Renton Center will open for drive-thru, mobile curbside and mobile carry-out service, with third-party delivery offered shortly after the opening. Guests can also take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A mobile app and online ordering. In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Rainier Avenue at Renton Center will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Renton with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners in King County to aid in the fight against hunger.
Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Rainier Avenue at Renton Center is locally owned and operated by Erik Lee. Lee comes from a first-generation immigrant family from Taiwan and was raised in Atlanta. He began his career with Chick-fil-A as a restaurant Team Member while he was a college student at the University of Georgia earning his bachelor’s degree in marketing. Lee moved to Renton earlier this year with his wife, Mary Claire, and they look forward to introducing their community to the Chick-fil-A brand.
