Restaurant to Bring Approximately 100 Full- and Part-Time Jobs to Community
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 6, 2022) – Chick-fil-A® Kingston Overlook has been rebuilt and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 11. Marshall Wilkins will continue as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Kingston Overlook. Wilkins will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A Kingston Overlook is located at 9646 Kingston Pike, located in the Kingston Overlook shopping center, and will be open Monday through Saturday.
Chick-fil-A remains committed to serving guests safely. Chick-fil-A Kingston Overlook will open for limited dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out service. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A® App or through online ordering. Locally Owned and Operated
Chick-fil-A Kingston Overlook is locally owned and operated by Marshall Wilkins, a Knoxville-area native. Upon graduation from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and political science, Wilkins began his career running his own construction company and working in food production. After being introduced to Chick-fil-A in 1979, he was instantly inspired to pursue a career with the company and give back to communities through delicious food and genuine hospitality. In 1981, Wilkins was selected to be a Chick-fil-A Operator and has since overseen several Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout Tennessee. Today, he is thrilled to reopen Chick-fil-A Kingston Overlook while continuing to operate Chick-fil-A Turkey Creek, both in the Knoxville community.
